The main objective of webmastering is to index their websites in the Google Search Engine. If your website has not been indexed by Google for a quite long time, then there must be some problem with your website and you can fix it using the Google reconsideration. Now you can use the Google Webmaster Tool to submit the request of reconsideration to the Google.

But you must follow the steps before you submit the request of reconsideration. You must check the timing of the last time when Googlebot visited your website. You must check whether there is any problem in accessing the website by Googlebot. This can be checked in the Webmaster Tools using the crawl rate graphs. And if there is any problem in accessing your website, then there may be some message from Google and you can check the inbox of message in Webmaster Tools.

And if there is no message in the Webmaster Tools Center, then it means that still there is a big problem and you have to find by yourself. Now you can re-check the guidelines of the webmasters which are given in the Webmaster Tools Center. If there is any violation in the rules and regulation in the Google Webmaster Guidelines, then you can submit the reconsideration request to the Google through the webmaster Tools Center.
