Search Engine Optimization is a very complex process and it keeps on changing with time. But recently Google had made drastic changes in their algorithm and therefore old tools are not working anymore.

SEO tools which are using to check backlinks and link popularity however may work effectively but the other tools for Page Rank checking and Page Ranking prediction are not working properly. The reason is that Google keeps on changing their algorithm and if the SEO tools cannot follow the Google’s algorithm, then there will be no use for the tool.

Most of the tools may give correct static Page rank but if you want to check dynamic PR at the time of PR update, then you must use new SEO tools which are still following the Google PR algorithm. Especially, the PR prediction tool is not effective for all the SEO tools but it is completely irrelevant for those old SEO tools. Now if you to optimize your websites, then effective SEO tools are the most important things to check your progress in SEO.
