I just want to write some posts for the new webmasters who just stepped in this field of webmastering and other online stuffs. Well, Page Rank is the ranking of your webpage out of 10 and it is given by Google. Many factors control the ranking of your page or PR. Google follows some algorithm to give ranking to the WebPages. But nobody knows this algorithm but SEO experts can predict the algorithm.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is another term which is closely related with the PR or search engine ranking. It is the promotion of your WebPages or websites to score high PR or search engine ranking. There are different ways to optimize your websites but depend on the algorithm of Google. Backlinks, Contents, Age of the domain, Domain name and Authority websites are some of the factors that control the PR (Page Rank). But recently Google made some changes in their algorithm and now it depends on contents, domain name and some other unknown factors.

Google use to update the Page Rank (PR) of the websites or WebPages regularly after three months (Ninety days). Each time they make some changes in their algorithm to control the PR of the websites. Now the latest move of the Google is to remove the Page Rank of those WebPages in which there are paid links and therefore Google took longer time to the last two PR update. The Google PR was updated on January, 2008 and now we can expect on the April, 2008 for the next PR update.
