Youtube is the largest video sites and recently many marketers have targeted to start video marketing of their products. Now I notice some changes in the YouTube features and the main website. Now YouTube is trying to be something else than simply a video website. Now YouTube is extending its features towards social networking websites.

Now you will find inbox, my contacts, my videos and many extra features in the YouTube profile. Also YouTube has enhanced some of the functions. Now you will find the messaging function is faster than ever and this makes the video website showing interest towards “social network like” website. Now you can organize your friends in YouTube and this is just like a social network website as in Orkut or MySpace.

Now we can say YouTube as a social network - video upload website. All the features related to making a network of friends like inviting friends, messaging, contacts and other features are all enhanced and they give more importance to these features in the new update of YouTube.

But it doesn’t mean that YouTube leaves their importance as a video upload website. YouTube still makes some new update in the functionality as video update website also and they add some new features to make the website better as a video upload website. They have redesigned the video management tools and the new features of these tools are very user friendly and now you can easily manage all the videos with these tools.
