The question is little confusing and most of the webmasters claim me that adsense is meant for earning by placing ads in your websites or blogs. And Adsense is a PPC program that can give you some pennies for a click placed in your website. But there may be different uses of adsense and I use adsense for checking the traffic of my websites. It provides the dual functions - One for earning and another for the traffic statistics.

I know there are many effective tools for analyzing traffic in a website but I guess adsense is also another useful tool for checking traffic and perhaps it is the most effective one. Well, if you are using other traffic analyzing tools like Google Analytics, then I am not sure whether you will check the traffic statistics every day. But if you are using Adsense, then I am damn sure that you will check every day, may be every minute whether the impression and clicks have increased or not.

There is an inclination towards earning for most of the webmaster and everyone knows that people optimized their websites for some profit or earning money. And if you are using adsense, then there will be some earning and also at the same time you can use the records of the adsense to analyze the traffic statistics of your websites. This is the most effective tool because people frequently check the adsense score and therefore you will have regular records for the traffic of your websites.
